Located in the heart of Paris, the Tuileries Garden stretch between the Concorde square and the Louvre Palace. It was created in the 16th century by Queen Catherine of Médicis and redesigned by André Le Nôtre, the gardener of Versailles castle in the mid-17th century. The garden was part of the Tuileries Palace, now demolished. Considered to be the oldest and largest garden in Paris, the 25-hectare of the Tuileries Garden features six basins, remarkable trees, a pedagogical organic vegetable garden and more.
It is also a veritable open-air sculpture museum, with over 170 statues and vases dating from the 17th to the 21st century.
It's in this green setting that we will take a walk in the footsteps of the kings, queens and emperors of France, to discover the garden, its sculptures of figures from Greek and Roman mythology, not forgetting its relaxation areas for all.
