The green lung of Paris close to the Sorbonne university and the Panthéon, the Luxembourg Garden is a favorite of Parisians. Formerly the garden of the Luxembourg Palace built in the 17th century, the Luxembourg Garden is composed of 5 different garden styles: French, English, Italian, fruit and rose gardens.
There are also play areas for children, a puppet theater, a tennis court, a sport practicing area and more.
A place of history and art, the garden contain a hundred statues of mythological goddesses, queens and saints of France. During our visit, we will listen to what these heroines have to say.
On a sunny day, don't forget your sunglasses and enjoy a little sunbathing in the chairs arranged around the water basin, facing a flowerbed in the geometric French garden.
