The Marmottan museum houses the world's largest collection of works by Claude Monet . There are also works by other 19th-century painters such as Berthe Morisot, Renoir, Caillebotte, Pissarro… Add to this the magnificent Empire-style décor and furniture of this former private mansion.
During our visit, we'll come face to face with Monet's iconic painting “Impression, soleil levant”, which gave the movement its name. We'll also see hundreds of masterpieces bequeathed by the painter's family and close friends, from the cathedrals of Rouen to a unique group of Water Lilies and views of the garden at Giverny.
So let yourself be enchanted!
