1 to 22 maximum
From the Royal Palace to the Larges-Boulevards, admire Paris' magnificent covered passages and galleries.
Created and developed between the 18th and 19th centuries, covered passageways and galleries were designed to bring together a variety of shops in one place, providing customers with shelter from the elements.
The modernization work of Napoleon III and the Baron Haussmann, however, was to take its toll on these covered passages and galleries, leading to their disappearance.
Come and discover the few beautiful passages and sublime covered galleries that still exist today.
You will learn about the history and evolution of these authentic places, from their creation in the late 18th century to the present day.
We will get off the beaten Paris track and stroll through the Passage Panorama, Jouffroy... the Galleries Vero-Dodat, Vivienne..., among the many and varied little boutiques.
So don’t be fooled!!
